Frequency separation

The difference in frequency between the primary resonance (often the axial resonance) and any other specified resonance.

If the frequency separation is too low, then the power supply may jump resonance or the modeshape of the primary resonance may be affected. If the primary resonance is the axial resonance, then the face uniformity or stud surface uniformity may be affected.
