Jump resonance

A condition where the driving frequency of the power supply is initially at the primary resonance of the stack but suddenly jumps to a nearby secondary resonance. If this happens, the power supply will stall.

The power supply is more likely to jump resonance as the loading increases and as the frequency separation decreases.
