Acoustic material
Any material of which resonators are commonly made. These materials generally have good fatigue strength and relatively high Q.
Primary acoustic materials include titanium alloys, aluminum alloys, steel, monel, and piezoelectric ceramics. Secondary materials include brass and magnesium. Special materials that are used for electrodes include brass, copper, beryllium copper, and nickel.
